Oh good! You're still here! So am I. Well, I'm here and I'm there and sometimes I'm here and there at the same time. (Look, ma! No hands!) I'm a bit of an internet magician these days. That's a real thing. I promise.
Last week my there was New York City with Team Mighty (Go Mighty!) where we threw a party to celebrate Gretchen Rubin's new book Happier at Home. Gretchen is the inventor of a very lovely thing called The Happiness Project and if you aren't familiar you should be. You would be into it.
The party was held on a terrace in the city that would knock your socks off, but better than the terrace were the people on the terrace. It was a true meeting of the minds, only all the minds had their party hats on and cute shoes.
Of course, when you gather the best people for a celebration you want to send them home with a little something to remember the evening by.
The folks at Bliss provided guests with the gift of bubble bath and good moisturizer. Their lemon sage soapy sap is famous, and I can't wait to try this new blood orange + white pepper goodness.
How cute are the bags + calendars?
Very, right?
Anthropologie in real life -- Alexandra Sourbis and Kelly Thurman brought gifts for all.
This champagne was the real deal. From France. Straight to us. Thanks Imported Wines. Big thanks.
And this is what brought us together. One book. Lots of great ideas.
So here's to being Happier at Home.
Check out Laura's post on what we ate, drank and ooh and ahhed over.
See Sarah's post on all the mighty happy people who came to celebrate.
Add your name to the list if you want to find out more about Go Mighty.
And buy Happier at Home for yourself and others. It will make everyone happier.
